Working directly with the owner and or senior level leadership team in order to insure there is true buy-in from the top on down is key to the work that I do with my clients. I have seen the difference this makes and today it's now a requirement when working with new clients.

 

I’ve been able to connect with some outstanding “partner” companies and individuals that have provided additional expertise to my clients. I’ve been fortunate to collaborate on various projects both with their clients and my own and this has served to broaden our collective skill and expertise base.

In 2010, I began my own consulting practice working with small and mid-size companies. I had enjoyed a successful career in the corporate world of Human Resources and Employee Development at various leadership levels working first with D&W Food Centers for 16 years and then with Herman Miller Inc. for over 20 years. When my time at Herman Miller ended, I was ready to combine what I had learned at these two successful companies and use that knowledge to help other smaller companies.

 

The most exciting part of my work thus far has been seeing how companies, teams and individuals can benefit from the things that so often larger companies take for granted. Helping others with tools, insights and knowledge gleaned from over 30+ years combined with the ability to act and move quickly at the smaller company level is something I have enjoyed.
